Oak Barrel Salsa Verde
Ingredients
- 1 lb. tomatillos, roughly chopped
- 1/2 cup chopped Vidalia onion
- 2 jalapeno chilis, seeded and chopped
- 3 Tbsp. chopped fresh cilantro
- 2 tsp. minced fresh garlic
- 1 tsp. dried oregano
- 2 tsp. salt
- 3 pumps Oak Barrel Concentrated Flavor

Instructions
- In a sauce pot combine the tomatillos, onion, jalapeno, cilantro, garlic, oregano, salt and 1/2 cup of water and bring to a simmer over medium high heat.
- Simmer until the water has reduced slightly and the vegetables have softened, about 10 minutes.
- Remove from the heat and blend the mixture until smooth. Cool to room temperature.
- Stir in the oak barrel concentrated flavor and adjust the seasoning if necessary.
- Store in a container, cover tightly and refrigerate until use.
