Guava Bars
Ingredients
- 16 Tbsp. butter, cubed
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 cup Monin Guava Puree
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 Tbsp. water
- 1 cup old fashioned oats
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 8 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt

Glass Size: 12 bars.
Instructions
- Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan and preheat oven to 350°F.
- In a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, mix butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Then, add the remaining shortbread ingredients and mix until the dough comes together.
- Press the dough evenly into the baking pan. Combine the ingredients for the filling in a mixing bowl then spread evenly over the top of the shortbread dough.
- Combine all the topping ingredients into a food processor and pulse until the mixture becomes sandy, about 10 times. Cover the guava mix evenly then place in the oven and bake for 45 minutes.
- Allow to cool and serve immediately or store in a tightly sealed container at room temperature.
