Best for boba drinks

"Like the other reviews stated, yes, syrup is THICK. However I don't think it's meant to be used like other Monin syrups. We use it exclusively for boba drinks. I pour this syrup over freshly boiled/drained boba pearls in a bowl and stir it a bit. Then scoop the desired amount of the coated boba pearls into a drink (typically double-strength chilled tea or coffee). Then add ice and dairy/dairy alternative (for milk tea or iced coffee). The boba is sweetened enough by this black sugar syrup that very little to no additional sweetener is needed."

"I’m only give this 4 stars because of how thick it is. Which isn’t a terrible thing, except when I used it in ice coffee. It just sort of clumped up. I think if it was just a bit less thick it would be 5 stars. The flavor is amazing and I will buy again"

Perfect if you enjoy boba

"If you like the milk teas they have in the boba shops then you’ll like this black sugar syrup. I now make my milk teas at home exactly like I like them. I prefer to control the flavor and the sweetness. This syrup is thicker than the other monin syrups so it looks so pretty as it coats the glass just like the boba shops. I wish this wasn’t a limited edition. This should be a permanent available flavor."
