Apple Pie
Ingredients
- 1 (9-inch) prepared raw pie shell
- 3 granny smith apples, peeled and sliced
- 1 stick unsalted butter
- 3 Tbsp. all purpose flour
- 3/4 cup Monin Sea Salt Caramel Toffee Sauce
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. cardamom
- 1 tsp. ground allspice
- 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
- 1/2 tsp. ground clove
- Extra pie dough (optional)

Glass Size: 1 (9-inch) pie.
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit and line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
- Add butter to a nonstick skillet set to medium heat and cook until butter stops foaming and begins to brown.
- Add in the flour and continue to cook for 2-3 minutes or until the flour mixture begins to brown.
- Whisk in the remaining ingredients until well combined and allow to cool for 5 minutes.
- Toss the apples in the sugar mixture and pour into the prepared pie shell.
- Optionally top the pie with more pie dough in any desired pattern.
- Bake the pie on the prepared sheet pan in the oven for 15 minutes before reducing heat to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and continuing to cook for an additional 45 minutes, or until the apples are very tender.
- Remove from the oven and allow to completely cool to room temperature (about 4 hours) before serving.
