Maple Bacon Scones
Ingredients
- 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
- 4 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 11 Tbsp. cold butter, cubed
- 1 cup cold milk
- 1/2 cup Monin Maple Pancake Syrup

Instructions
- In the bowl of stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, place all the dry ingredients inside and mix until fully incorporated.
- Add the cold butter and mix until the flour is coarse and sandy.
- In a separate bowl, combine the wet ingredients. Slowly pour the wet ingredients into the stand mixer while mixing on low speed, stop once a soft dough is made.
- Scrape the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and cut the dough into three even pieces. Gently pat each piece into a circle about 3/4’’ thick.
- Transfer onto a baking sheet fitted with either a silpad or parchment paper and cut the disks into triangles. Preheat the oven to 425°F and place the dough into the fridge for 20-30 minutes while the oven preheats.
- Bake the scones for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve immediately or store in a tightly sealed container at room temperature.
