Clove and Lavender Pickled Onions

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 1/4 cup Monin Lavender Syrup
  • 1 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
  • 2 cups thinly sliced red onion
  • 1/4 tsp. cloves

Glass Size: 1 pint.

Instructions

      1. In a mixing bowl. combine the apple cider vinegar, warm water, syrup, salt, and cloves and whisk until combined and the salt is fully dissolved.
      2. Add the thinly sliced red onions to the vinegar mixture.
      3. Let the onions soak for at least one hour and up to 24 hours before serving.
      4. Store under refrigeration for up to a week.
